frank ocean doing “i miss you” (he wrote this for beyonce) last night at the el rey. this really needs a studio recording.
a few things:
- opened with a cover of sade’s “by your side”
- followed that with “thinking about you” —- way too early in the set, boo :/
- tyler came out to do “she”
- people in the balcony: shut.the.eff.up. (at least during slow songs, bro)
- girls in the crowd (as always): “this is my faaavorite song!!” and then talk through the entire thing
- found out chromeo is playing at together as one (NYE) WHYYYY.
